Central California
National karting champion. Pro Sportsman stock car driver at Madera Speedway. Racing coach.
The Driver
Brennen Mankin is a championship-winning racer from California's Central Valley. He came up through competitive karting, winning a WKA Grand National title in 2007 and an IKF Grand National title in 2009, before moving into full-size stock cars at Madera Speedway. Along the way he shared the track with future stars of American motorsport including Colton Herta, Zane Smith, and Riley Herbst.
When budget kept him off the track, he kept his skills sharp with years of serious sim racing. Today he races a Pro Sportsman stock car at Madera Speedway, competes in the CCKRA Briggs LO206 senior karting class, and coaches new and developing drivers using the same two tools that built his own career: a race kart and a sim rig.

The Numbers Side
Coaching at Mankin Racing is backed by real analysis, not seat-of-the-pants guesses. Lap times, sim telemetry, and race footage get turned into specific, prioritized changes: where to brake later, where the line is costing time, and what to work on next.
The analytics side is led by Michael Saldivar, who holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and spent two years as an analytics engineer building statistical models and production data pipelines. It is the same discipline professional race teams apply to their data, brought to the club level.
